Teacher Training

Attending a workshop is required for consideration for the PFTS Teacher Training.

Training is limited to 10 people. Acceptance is based upon attendance in a workshop, the completion of detailed application, personal interview and thoroughly reading and digesting Aviva's book, The Complete Painting From the Source®. You will be expected to organize and facilitate a small practice workshop with Aviva’s coaching in your home location before the Training.

Place: Skálholt Center is a most historical site of “spirit” (Viking ruins, earliest church settlement) situated in the vast Icelandic landscape near powerful volcanoes, rivers and waterfall.

Dates: 7 days, August 19 - 26, 2019

Price:

  1. Tuition: $2,450 (€2,132 Eur), invaluable PFTS Training Manuel, Individual coaching and extensive preparation before Training, and personal interviews. Tuition can be paid in installments. Deposit is due as soon as possible, 2nd installment due March 1, 3rd installment due July 15.
    (There is one half price tuition based on financial need in exchange for assisting.)

  2. Lodging (double occupancy with sink in each room and shared bathrooms) paid directly to Skalholt in the local currency, Krona, after the Training. Here is the current price in dollars and Euros but there may be a slightly different exchange rate in August:
    $252 (€217) if you bring your own bedding / towel.
    $406 (€350) includes bedding and towels. Pillows and blankets are supplied.

  3. Delicious home cooked meals, snacks and all painting / studio supplies; approximately $430 (€374) paid directly to Solvieg's PayPal account June 1, at which time she will announce the exact amount to pay.

The total price is approximately $3,130 (€2,724).
Add approximately $150 (€131) if the Center will provide bedding.
